Pinay Travels to Manila: Thanks Cebu Pacific
November 22-24 was slated for a Manila trip that is the reason why i filed for a leave for those days. The 22 was flight in day and the 24th was flight out. To measure the time, we just really had 1 full day in Manila. It was so short to cover up all the places we plan to cover and to do all the things we want to do. But then, even if not all were done but the things that happened was really a blast!
The PMC 2nd Grand Eyeball which was attended by 50 mommies was held at Aling Tonya's Restaurant. We went there directly from the airport. Aling Tonya's is located at Macapagal drive with Claire Dela Fuente as the venue marker. Thanks to those beautiful ladies who met us up at the airport with a driver that knows the place, so the trip was quicker than expected. Mommies who attended the event had a great time and had a bit hard time going home with lots of token and loot bags.
The first Postcrossing - Philippines and also the Postcrossing Enthusiasts Meet-up at the Manila Central Post Office on November 23 @ 1 pm was a success. Though I arrived more than a hour late, but I still had some time to say hi and know each one who attended. The tokens or giveaways were super nice. There is just one thing I missed, the tour of the post office. That huge post office building in Lawton is really a gem to be toured at especially for those who love to postcard collection and philatelic related activities. I saw the photos they made after I left, I so envy them. But I am not losing hope. One day I am going back there and spend a day at the Postoffice.
The times at Luneta Park and also the Ocean park are moments worth treasuring. I am sure my daughter enjoyed the time in spite of the sunny weather. She knows sunny weather is better than rainy weather in times when you think you are on tour.
There were more side trips and unforgetable detours during the trip duration, and am going to share them with you in the coming days.
