Surigao del Sur Escapade: Enchanted at The Enchanted River

Yay after a year, it's like I am able to make a summary of our summer 2015 escapade in Surigao del Sur that covered The Enchanted River, Tinuy-an Falls, and the Britania group of Islands. I may forget some minute details but I will try to narrate what I can remember according to the pics posted here. Disclaimer: All photos used in this post are mine, unless stated otherwise.

Before coming, I have heard a lot about Enchanted River.  I've seen it many times online (thanks to Google). Many times I have wished that one day, I will be able to see and feel its waters - and that one day happened in July 2015.

After traveling the whole night, we arrived at HInatuan before six o'lock in the morning.  We were one of the few who were early birds. We thought we were the first but nah. Never mind though.  The important thing is that we arrived safe and sound and the drivers can take their rest and few hours wink.

I feel our faces are puffy after the whole night trip but never mind, we were excited that we were already there.  While my companions are water lovers, me only took time taking pictures.

Morning bliss!

That kind of morning moment where you want the time to stand still so you can enjoy the beauty of the sun rays slowly slipping into the trees.

The blue waters!
it's impossible to determine its depth
I guess that is the reason why the place is called enchanted aside from the fact that you will really be "enchanted" when you see and enjoy the beauty of this river.

The daughter and cousins enjoying the river:

And here we are, off to island hopping...

Well, these are all to share.
There are more pictures in stock, but too tired and lazy to resize.

I hope you enjoyed my travel story while at Enchanted River
