Good morning! It's my birthday and I can hear the rain is pouring hard outside.  I was staying with friends and they are up earlier than me because they are going out to work.  But I should not worry because one of room occupants is coming in from night work.  The scenario reminds me of the life of hard-working OFWs in  many parts of the world. My fear of being lost is not obvious.  I was dead decided that I am going out so that I my trip will be really worth it.  And I was also sure that I would never get lost.  I just need to follow their instruction on which way to go after getting out of the building. Last year, I really had thought that my 2015 birthday would be a solo trip somewhere. I have not yet decided where. So I booked a back and forth ticket to Manila during the mid-year sale. I was thinking I would go with a group tour to anywhere in Luzon. I asked a friend Harry if he had schedule group tour during these days. He said there is but not yet definite. Then before 2014 ended, I booked a ticket to Macao thinking that in case there is no Luzon tour, I'd go to Macau.  I thought that spending my birthday in Macau – that is if finances will allow me to, would not be bad.  Fast forward to mid-July 2015. I am not yet sure if I will really pursue the trip. July 20, it was my mom’s birthday. I was still undecided. The next day, I remembered my birthday gift from the hospital workers. A Php 20/per worker so I checked it out and indeed there was a certain amount. Calculating the travel tax plus the terminal fees, the amount I received could cover the said costs. Y...

How time flies! I was asleep last night and woke up at 3:45 am only to realized that it is already July! Oh July, I am glad you are here because for so many reasons. Maybe a few I can share it here in this post. First . I love that July is here because this is my birthday month. I am hoping that July will really surprise me. Some dreaded for their birthdays to come. Not for me. Even though I don't celebrate it lavishly like others can afford, but still I am happiness during my natal day. Even if it is a working day and a toxic one, still I am not stopped to tell my friends it is my birthday and happily say "thanks" when they greet me. Second . This is also my mom's birthday. In the past years before she died, I often tried to celebrate her birthday more than I do with mine. I feel hers is real special because three days after her birthday in 1972, she gave birth to me. I was her first baby. :) Third . I just think that people who are having birthday...

"Travelling, it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a story teller."   This travel quote has been imprinted in mind since the past weeks - As of the moment, I have more or less 15 albums on file and I feel that half of that I wanna share for others to see. But thinking about the process so it can be shared leaves me weak. I guess I need one whole relaxing week to do the task. So for now, let me share a few of my "sefies" while I have "some time" before hitting the bed.  This trip to Hollywood and Universal was made possible by college chums, Genelei and Danny! The last time I saw Gen was in MVC and that was in the in 1993 or 1994. Then the last time I saw and spent time with Danny and family was in Thailand in the year 2006.   And the last but not the least is "Me & Elvis!"   Yes, I have tons of stories to share as well as tons of pics to be resized. ^&^

A buffer site? Not really. This might be a permanent transfer. My solely travel blog will expire in few days and I do not have plans of renewing it anymore.  My blogging career has ultimately gone down the drain because of so many reasons. It is not that I do not love to blog, I still do but there are so many factors that reminds me that blogging is not a priority.  I have no plans of stopping work so I can blog full time, although I have this in mind from time to time.  Even just by the thought of it makes me want to slap my face so I can wake up to reality. But it can be! Why not? Right.   well, it's just me day dreaming of having a freelance online job. This blog will be my travel home blog for now.  It's suppose to be www.pinaytravels.com and want it to be directly changed it to blogspot. In spite of my busy schedule because of work and study, I am glad I still experienced two oh three  memorable trips this summer. One was in April - a tour to Northern Luzon. I have promised myself that I will post an update immediately after the trip, but I failed it. Why? Because I lost my phone and all the photos that I took during the trip was gone with it. I already forgot if I have blogged a bit about that loss but all I can say for now is that I am still hurting.  It feels like I just had a break up with someone I love. lol! Yeah, really.  If you won't believe me, try losing your phone that contains many memorable data in it, surely you can relate to what I feel.
