In Hong Kong with The Daughter

Image
It is seldom that me and daughter have photos together when traveling now that she is already a tweeny.  Unlike when she was still small, she readily smiles at the camera when one is directed at her.  But now, it is not the same.  So  during our trip to Hong Kong last June, of all the many pics, we only have two photos of us together in the photo. lol! This was taken at the airport before we went out because we were still waiting for her Omi and cousins to fly in from Australia. From the airport, we went straight to Disneyland and this was taken when we were waiting for the Disney train to take us to the Disney kingdom. =) I have more Disney photos to share with stories in it, but oh this post is just one of the backlogs and thank God I have made it now. =)  By the way, this trip was a 24 hours trip to Hong Kong. I will try to make a separate post about it. =)

Cheap Holidays - Tips and Tricks

Image
photo credits: Erlina O If you're on the hunt for cheap holidays , don't leave home without trying some of these tried-and-tested tips and tricks for finding your perfect bargain break. First off, take some time to compare your travel options. If you're planning to go somewhere that has a high frequency rate of scheduled flights, and you're planning to stay in a town or resort that's close and well connected to the airport, a package holiday might not be the cheapest option. Instead, look for scheduled flights, local hotels, and research transport options - but remember that return taxi transfers can be extortionate, so look into local train connections and hire car options first. If you do fancy a package holiday, it's never too early to start looking. By booking ahead most tour operators will be able to offer early bird deals on holidays departing next year, and in some cases, even the year after. You'll often find special discounts on holidays booked well

Philippines Tops as 2nd Destination for 2013

I just read that in the Yahoo news earlier and I said to myself, "wow! I am glad I am in the Philippines" and yes, this year, 2013 - I am going to travel the Philippines!  Even me without traveling to Philippines awesome places, yet this country deserves a BIG CONGRATULATIONS.  Somehow, our government will be good enough to improve the transportation system especially our airports. So far, I have already tickets to two destinations in the Philippines (me and friends) to a place where we have never been yet.  I guess this gonna be the beginning of seeing Northern part of the Philippines. I have no international trips for 2013 -- so I hope I could share in this blog the wonderful experiences I had during the trip to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Phnom Pehn in Cambodia.  I know I have shared one post related to that trip, but I haven't added more. There are still more to share ++ the Kuala Lumpur Trip/Penang, Malaysia trip. Hmm I know that I was not a good travel experienc
