One of the places to grab some bag of sweets is Jonathan's Cupcakery located at Arellano Street in Davao City.  The place was our last stop for our DFAT 2012 last day so the place was unforgetable.  There were two places in the area and they stand right next to each other.  After a hearty food tasting at Rego's we have to run to JC to satisfy our sweet tooth.

They have a wide selection of cupcakes. I don't have the list of them all but I urged you to drop by at their places to prove to yourself that they sell out more than 12 or more kinds or flavors of cupcakes. And this four is just a sample of the many -

The place is not so big. It is just enough space to accommodate a handful and feel cozy eating their cake with a drink of your choice. If I will have the chance to visit their again, I guess I will have 4 or 5 flavors and then a mug of coffee. Their wall got several frames that convey a message to everyone that Jonathan's cupcakes are really different from the usual cupcakes you can grab from any cookie or cake or cupcake shop.

Just before we went home, each of us were given this cookie.  I love their packing because it really preserves its freshness.  DFAT 2012 event allowed me to discover delicious Davao foods.    I know there are more foods waiting to be discovered in the future trips.

Surigao del Sur Escapade: Enchanted at The Enchanted River

Yay after a year, it's like I am able to make a summary of our summer 2015 escapade in Surigao del Sur that covered The Enchanted River, Tinuy-an Falls, and the Britania group of Islands. Before coming, I have heard a lot about Enchanted River.  I've seen it many times online (thanks to Google). Many times I have wished that one day, I will be able to see and feel its waters - and that one day happened in July 2015.
